We are seeking a qualified and experienced Internal Auditor to join our growing software and financial technology company in the Philippines. The Internal Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with BSP Circular 1127 and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems and experience with internal audit methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential control weaknesses and compliance risks
- Develop and execute audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with BSP Circular 1127 and SEC regulations
- Prepare audit reports and recommendations to management and the Board of Directors
- Follow up on audit findings and recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation
- Stay up-to-date on changes in BSP Circular 1127, SEC regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations
- Provide training and guidance to other employees on internal controls and compliance matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in internal auditing, with a focus on financial services
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience with internal audit methodologies
- Familiarity with BSP Circular 1127 and SEC regulations
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
