The Functional Consultant is responsible for assisting clients in effectively using the company’s software solutions. This role focuses on understanding client business processes, configuring the system based on their requirements, and providing functional support to ensure successful implementation and continuous system adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in understanding and using the software based on their business needs
  • Gather, analyze, and document client requirements
  • Configure the software to align with client processes and operational requirements
  • Conduct system demonstrations, user training, and functional walkthroughs
  • Provide functional support during implementation, testing, and post-deployment 
  • Coordinate with technical teams for system issues, enhancements, and customizations 
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system functionality 
  • Prepare functional documentation, user guides, and process flows 
  • Ensure timely resolution of client concerns and issues 
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any business-related course (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system configurations
  • Willingness to learn new software and technologies 
  • Experience in ERP, CRM, or business software implementation is an advantage but not required
